Biography

Dr Talha Müezzinoglu (Professor) is the Head of the Urology Department of Medical Faculty of Celal Bayar University. Müezzinoglu was born in Akhisar, Manisa, Turkey, completed her bachelor’s (1991) science at Medical Faculty of Dokuz Eylul University,Izmir and completed his proficiency on urology at Celal Bayar University, Manisa. Initially, he worked as expert urology assistant at community health center in Manisa precincts during 1991-1994, and as a research assistant and specialist Dr. Celal Bayar University from 1994 to 2003. He has worked on the faculty staff as an assistant professor during 2003-2006, and as an associate professor during 2006-2011 at the same university, Manisa. Dr Muezzinoglu, is currently working as full professor in the Department of Urology of the Medical Faculty of Celal Bayar University as a faculty member from 2011 to date. He professionally officiated at Heildelberg University, Heillbronn Hospital, Germany, as a research associate at 2007 and also professionally officiated at Emory University, Atlanta, USA as a tranie scholar for robotic urological surgery. He organized various international attendee congress. Muezzinoglu administrated and attended to several laparoscopy prostatectomy and laparascopic urology courses, clinical trials, research education programmes in national and international countries. He served as health publisher and media partner for national newspapers for raising the awareness of public. He is currently serving on the “Urooncology Association” and “Life Quality For Health (SAYKAD)’’ as executive secretary and he is administrating the “Aegean Urology Association’’. He is one of the founder of “the Association of Contribution to Education and Employment’’. He is affiliated with the “European Urology Association (EAU)’’, “International Life Quality Organization (ISOQoL)’’, “Urological Surgery Association’’ and “Union for International Cancer Control’’ Recently, he was invited to “World Cancer Leaders Summit’’ to Melbourne, Avustralia for 2014 December. Prof.Muezzioglu qualified the Rector Candidate of the Celal Bayar University for 2014-2018 years period. Prof. Muezzinoglu is married with two children.

Research Interest

Talha Muezzinoglu’ research interests range from prostate incidence and advanced urooncology techniques to life quality in urological cancers, cancer treatment methodologies.
